About
A third place in the city where people and nature connect
ART FARM IKEJIRI is a rooftop farm where everyone can come join and co-create. It is located on the rooftop of HOME/WORK VILLAGE, a facility built on the site of the former Ikejiri Junior High School. You can grow vegetables, fruits, herbs and flowers with your friends, gaze up at the sky, enjoy markets, workshops, and art events on weekends, or even host your own events.
It is a new "satoyama" that we can all create together on the rooftops of the city. It is a FARM, a commons, and a testing ground that will create a cycle from various ART (technology) created together by people and nature, and foster a refined culture that will regenerate people, regions, cities, and the environment.
Let's work together to create the most comfortable third place in Tokyo!

SHARE FARM
A shared farm where you can grow, learn and share the harvest. We will create planters together, grow vegetables, fruits, herbs, hops, rice, Japanese cotton and more. Touch the soil and experience the cycle of nature!

VINEYARD
At the VINEYARD on the west side, we are growing grape seedlings of wine varieties (Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Syrah) and are planning to produce wine in collaboration with a suburban winery .

KITCHEN &
LONG TABLE
To eat is to live. In the kitchen, you can enjoy the farm to table experience - washing the freshly harvested vegetables, cooking and eating together at the long table.

MARKETS, WORKSHOPS, TALKS, ART EVENTS
Mainly on weekends, we will be holding workshops, markets, talks, art events and more to learn about various "arts" that connect people with nature, such as cultivation techniques, permaculture, and courses on the seasons and lifestyle .
